This one-of-a-kind artisan-made bag is fashioned from a vintage huipil that was handwoven using a backstrap loom. Both sides are filled with bold brocaded roses. The red sun motif originally surrounded the neckline of the garment and was especially popular 40 to 50 years ago as a way to put oneself where the sun is always shining! With leather handles and an internal pocket. Made with love by an artisan we have been working with since 2005.
